Vintage No More Censorship Defense Fund "San Francisco" T-Shirt

San Francisco punk band Dead Kennedy's released their third album Frankenchrist in 1985. The record followed in step with the band's political satire, but this time they caught much more mainstream attention, due in part to the controversial album insert, Landscape #XX (or Penis Landscape) by H.R. Giger. The band was charged with distribution of harmful matters to minors. Pow Magazine organized a benefit show to help raise money for the band's legal defense, calling it the No More Censorship Defense Fund. The show featured performances by Flying Color, The McGuires, The Ophelias, Jon Gon, The Catheads, as well as a light show. This original No More Censorship Defense Fund shirt, in excellent condition, is from the Dead Kennedy's 1987 benefit show.
