Nickelodeon is a children's television channel. Founded in 1979, the station really became closer to what we know when it was sold to Viacom in 1985. In turn, it created modern shows for children. They were wholesome and family friendly but still a bit rambunctious and ridiculous. Nick had scripted shows, animated cartoons, and game shows, and often they would bring some iteration of all three live. In 1993-94, the network went on tour bringing its brand of whacky, high energy children's programming on the road, complete with high flying acrobatics, laughs, and, of course, slime. This original Nickelodeon live tour shirt from 1993-94 is deadstock in excellent condition.
