Detroit, MI hardcore band Negative Approach formed in 1981. Along with their Touch And Go label mates, NA helped put the midwest scene on the early USHC map. They released their self-titled 7" in 1982 and followed it up with their Tied Down LP the following year. The band incorporated Detroit rock n roll influences, like The Stooges and MC5, with the new sounds of American hardcore to create something brand new, raw and abrasive while still maintaining a kind of groove. This vintage Negative Approach crewneck, deadstock in excellent condition, is a fan-made 90s sweatshirt and features a live shot of shaved John Brannon.
