The University Of Nebraska - Lincoln was founded in 1869. The Cornhuskers played their first football season in 1890. Originally known as the Old Gold Knights and briefly as the Bugeaters, the Huskers name was christened in 1893, and since then they have gone on to be one of the most important and historic football programs in the country. They have played in several different conferences but have been a member of the Big Ten since 2011. The school has numerous conference titles across its history. They also have won five national titles. Those are only the ones they claim though, they also have nine unclaimed titles (!). This vintage Nebraska Cornhuskers hat, in deadstock condition, is perfect for any alumnus or fan.
