My Chemical Romance released Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, their sophomore album, in 2004. The New Jersey emo band had only formed three years earlier, and in that time they rose from a regional band to national success. Three Cheers was their first record with major label Reprise and quickly went Platinum. MCR became one of the most important bands of the turn of the century guitar-based scene, ushering a darker and more sincere mood that they've continued to challenge ever since. This original My Chemical Romance shirt, nicely faded and worn with a couple of pinholes, is from the 2004 release of their seminal Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge.
