Moshe Castel was a painter. He was born in the early 20th century and studied painting in Paris in the 1927 after beginning his education at the Bezalel Art School. He returned to Palestine in 1940 and split his time between his home and Paris. Castel's work focused mostly on Judaism. His art is now displayed in museums and collections across the world. A Moshe Castel Museum opened in 2010. This original Moshe Castel mounted poster, with signs of wear and aging, is from a 1965 show in Paris.
