Melissa Etheridge released Yes I Am, her fourth album, in 1993 on the Island label. Etheridge was a rising star, and not just for her music. In January of that year, she came out as a lesbian. This new personal backdrop only strengthened the political message of and support for the record. Songs like "Come To My Window" not only became hits, they became rallying cries. The record debuted at #15 and has since gone on be a multi-Platinum selling album. This original Mellisa Etheridge shirt, lightly worn in great condition, is from her 1993 album Yes I Am.
