Vintage Malfunkshun "Taste Love" T-Shirt

Malfunkshun are an alt rock band from Bainbridge Island, WA. The group formed in 1980 in the era leading up to the Seattle's popular grunge scene took hold. Malfunkshun was a three-piece who played distorted rock with their faces painted and performed as alter egos, including singer Andrew Wood's character L'Andrew The Love Child. While the never had a proper album, the band's style and sound informed the next generation of Washington bands. Wood would go on to sing in Mother Love Bone, which featured members who would go on to form Pearl Jam. Sadly, Wood passed away in 1990. Malfunkshun has since reformed with rotating members writing music to lyrics Wood wrote before his death. While they never rose to the level of fame their peers did, Malfunkshun are one of the most important bands to one of the most important scenes in late 20th century American rock. This original Malfunkshun shirt, in excellent condition, is a rare tee from the proto-grunge band.
