Madball formed in the late 1980s when Freddy Cricien, Roger Miret's younger brother, would sing songs with Agnostic Front. Freddy was a pre-teen and signing with New York's hardest band. The band started as an AF side project but quickly became its own, with Hoya Roc, Vinnie Stigma, Matt Henderson, and Will Shepler rounding out the lineup. When they solidified their lineup and sound, they helped shape what NYHC would become in the 90s, a trajectory which is still very much indebted to them. In the mid 1990s, Madball released a trio of records with Roadrunner Records, Set It Off, Demonstrating My Style, and Look My Way. Their lineup has changed many times over the years and their sound has evolved, but they're still one of New York's best, with nine albums and four EPs to date. This original press kit, in great condition, features a promo photo shot by the legendary BJ Papas and a biography.
