Los Crudos were a hardcore band from Chicago, IL founded in 1991. The band, which featured Martin Sorrondeguy on vocals and José Casas on guitar, played fast and aggressive rooted in the punk hardcore tradition and featured Spanish language lyrics dealing with explicitly political issues. They took on immigration, colonialism, class issues, homophobia, and more. During their time together, the band released four splits, two 7"s, and one LP, as well as having numerous compilation appearances, on labels like Ebullition and their own Lengua Armada Discos. They also toured constantly all over the world, visiting five continents in total and regularly touring across the US. Crudos broke up in 1998 with members going onto form such bands as Limp Wrist, I Attack, and, most recently, Canal Irreal. This original hand screened Los Crudos shirt, with signs of wear in great condition, is the first shirt the band ever made.
