In 1984, X, the legendary LA punk band, released a non-album single, a cover of The Trogg's song "Wild Thing." You know the song, the real popular tune that everyone knows the words to. But X made it their own, adding a bit of moody melody over the top of the classic. The band was in between their fourth and fifth albums, More Fun In The New World and Ain't Love Grand!, and were as busy as ever. To publicize the new single, X teamed up with Peter Haskell, not the actor but a filmmaker and artist, to create a music video for the song. Haskell also illustrated a shirt for the band, too. This original X shirt, in great condition with marks from the ink bleeding, features art from collaborator Peter Haskell.
