On January 17, 1994, at 4:30 in the morning, an earthquake hit the San Fernando Valley, about 20 miles north of Los Angeles. The earthquake lasted for nearly 20 seconds, hitting 6.8 on the Richter scale, followed by two 6.0 after shocks. In that time, nearly $50 billion dollars of damage was done. It is the highest recorded earthquake in North America. This original shirt from the aftermath celebrates life and rebuilding in the face of the quake. You made it out, you're still here, now look great letting everyone know you're stronger than the earthquake. Few light spots from prolonged storage.
