New York hardcore band Leeway released Desperate Measures, their sophomore LP, in 1991 on Profile Records. Leeway had already established themselves as one of the best bands on the scene, combining the technicality of metal with the simple aggression of hardcore. Bands had meddled with this before, like Agnostic Front on Cause For Alarm, but Leeway's attempt was still somehow innovative and impressive, and now, decades later, is timeless. Desperate Measures featured impressive guitar work from AJ Novello and memorable vocals from Eddie Sutton, pushing the band in new directions. To support the new album, the band went out on the road playing all their new material. And to put some gas in the tank, they made some commemorative t-shirts which featured a recreation of the album's cover with an extended photograph and a great back print. This original Leeway shirt, in excellent condition, is from the band's 1991 tour in support of Desperate Measures.
