Kiss are a rock band from New York City founded in 1973. They played an abrasive yet catchy style of guitar music, but they're equally well known for their makeup. The four members of the band each had simple yet iconic face paint that made them into characters, each member a kind of rock n roll superhero. Gene Simmons was the Demon, Paul Stanley the Starchild, Peter Criss was Catman, and Ace Frehley was The Spaceman. This made the band larger than life. Even though they ditched the make-up for a while, they brought it back as it was an integral part of their identity. This vintage Kiss halloween shirt from 2000, in excellent condition, features the band's makeup on jack-o'-lanterns.
