Vintage The Marquee New York "Killing Time Sheer Terror The Icemen" NYHC Poster

Originally known as Raw Deal, Killing Time were a staple band of the late 80s NYHC scene. They smashed CBGBs up regularly, playing hard and angry music that made moshers mosh and divers dive. They released their debut album Brightside on In Effect in 1989. The album would go on to be considered a classic. The band recorded a follow up, 1997's The Method which largely flopped. After many years of inactivity, the band got back together in the early 00s and has stayed playing since, even recording another record. This original Killing Time poster, taken straight off a wall with layers from previous flyers, is from the band's previous reunion with Sheer Terror, Icemen, American Standard, and Eye For An Eye.
