The Space Shuttle Atlantis launched for the first time in 1985 from Florida's Kennedy Space Center. The NASA ship flew a total of 33 missions before it was retired in 2011. It's 16th mission was STS-76 and featured the crew of Commander Kevin Chilton, Pilot Richard Searfoss, and Mission Specialists Ronald Sega, Michael Clifford, Linda Godwin, and Shannon Lucid, the first American woman to live on the space station. STS-76 also met with Mir, a Russian space station. This vintage Atlantis shirt, in great condition, is from the ship's 16th mission, STS-76.
