Kate Bush released Sensual World, her sixth album, in 1989. Bush had been in the public eye for over a decade at that point, and then, as is now, her popularity was still going strong. The album went to #2 in the UK and was eventually certified Platinum in her home country. Sensual World was nominated for awards at both the Brit Awards and the Grammys.
