She was already a well-respected musician, recording and playing with such bands as The Lemonheads and Blake Babies, and later Some Girls, Minor Alps, and the I Don't Cares with The Replacement's Paul Westerberg. Since then, Hatfield has regularly released new solo albums to much critical acclaim and fans' pleasures.
