Vintage Joni Mitchell Summer Tour '79 T-Shirt

Joni Mitchell, the folk legend from Saskatoon, released Mingus, her tenth album, in 1979. The album is named for Charles Mingus, the jazz bassist, who was involved in the album's production but sadly passed away in the middle of recording. It featured a number of other great jazz musicians, including Jaco Pastorious, Wayne Shorter, and Herbie Hancock. The album's reception was mixed, considering the drastic change of sound. To support the album, Mitchell went on tour, her first time on the road in some time, and went across the US, including notable stops at places like Los Angeles's Greek Theater. This original Joni Mitchell shirt, with wear and minor fading, is from her 1979 tour in support of Mingus
