Jim Thiebaud is a retired professional skateboarder. He began skating in San Francisco, CA and rode as an amateur for Powell-Peralta before leaving to turn pro for Santa Monica Airlines, a brand founded by Skip Engblom who helped organize the original Zephyr skate team. Thiebaud left SMA to start Real Skateboards with former Powell pro Tommy Guerero, a brand which is still thriving to this day. This Jim Thiebaud board is the second iteration of his legendary Joker graphic on SMA, the first version being struck down because of similarities to the Batman villain. The board is used and features wear throughout as noted in the photos. It had rails installed but they've since been removed. Comes with original Gullwing II Sidewinder Trucks and Santa Cruz Speed Wheels.
