In 1988, Jesse Jackson, a civil rights activist, ran for President of the United States. It was his second campaign for president. Despite having some significant and progressive endorsements, Jackson was unable to win the nomination for the Democratic Party. It was a historic and important run none the less and laid the groundwork for Jackson's political career that continues to this day. This original Jesse Jackson shirt, in excellent condition, is from his 1988 presidential campaign.
