Janet Jackson released Janet., her fifth album, in 1993. Jackson had only complete one tour prior to the new album's release, but she set out once again to support it. In turn, she embarked on a concert tour that spanned four continents over six legs for a total of over 120 shows in a 17 month span. Simple titled Janet World Tour, it was a huge success. There was incredible showmanship, with amazing choreography performed amidst pyrotechnics and massive screens. This original Janet Jackson tour shirt, nicely and heavily faded, is from the 1993-94 stretch of the Janet World Tour.
