Vintage Janet Jackson "The Velvet Rope" T-Shirt

Janet Jackson's 1997 The Velvet Rope,her sixth album, was a concept record that dealt with Jackson's recent emotional breakdown, and dealt with heavy and vulnerable themes surrounding it, discussing everything from personal worth to sexuality to domestic abuse. The Velvet Rope was an enormous success, being certified three-times Platinum in the U.S and was a critical success as well, winning a Grammy and being included in Rolling Stone's 500 Great Albums of All Time list. This single stitch shirt, in excellent condition, is for the 1998 World Tour which was done in support of the record. The tour's stop at New York City's Madison Square Garden was broadcast on HBO and subsequently won an Emmy for Outstanding Technical Direction/Camera/Video for a Special.
