Legendary NWOBHM band Iron Maiden released Somewhere In Time, their sixth album, in 1986. The band had formed a little over a decade earlier and had become one of the most popular heavy groups in the world. So it's no surprise that their then-newest record, which was produced by long-time collaborator Martin Birch, did well, being certified Platinum in the US and going to number #3 in their home country. The first single was the song "Wasted Years," which dealt pretty directly with feelings of homesickness that the band experienced after their substantial touring schedule. This original Iron Maiden poster from 1986, with a few pinholes and edge creasing, features the art from the "Wasted Years" single from the Somewhere In Time album.
