Iron Maiden are a heavy metal band founded in 1975 in London. They are important in ushering in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, alongside Motörhead, Pagan Altar, and Def Leppard. Iron Maiden released The Number Of The Beast in 1982. Despite it being their third album, it was actually their first with singer Bruce Dickinson. Bruce brought his operatic vocal style that became a defining factor for the band. The album would go on to sell more than 14 million copies worldwide. The title track was released as a single a month after the album was released and featured new artwork, with Maiden mascot Eddie holding a severed Satan's head. This original shirt, featuring the single art, is in great condition.
