Vintage Interview Magazine "Catherine Oxenberg" Cover April 1980 Issue

Interview was a magazine founded by Andy Warhol in 1969, shortly after the attempt on his life by Valeria Solanas. Initially headquartered at The Factory, Warhol said of the magazine "I felt there was a need for an easygoing, conversational magazine." Over time, Warhol gradually withdrew from the everyday duties of the magazine, and it remains in publication to this day. This issue features an interview with Catherine Oxenberg, with cover art by the in-house illustrator Richard Bernstein. Also included is an early portrait of Prince, photgraphed by Robert Mapplethorpe. In good condition - staple binding intact though slightly loosened, and some creasing and storage wear.
