Screenwriter Dan O'Bannon met artist H.R. Giger when they were working on Jodorowsky's Dune, a notorious movie that was never released. So when O'Bannon's screenplay about a terrifying yet unnamed alien creature got greenlit a few years later, he suggested to director Ridley Scott that they reach back out to Giger to design the character. Giger is known for his beautiful yet grotesque art, and created one of the most iconic villains in movie history. The creature was created as a nameless entity but came to be known as a Xenomorph from a line in the sequel Aliens. The Alien series is still going strong to this day and people are still terrified by the monster. This original light purple with black ink single stitch Alien shirt from 1980 is in great condition with a few pinholes.
