H Bar C was founded by Samuel Christenfield in 1906. Christenfield died in 1939 and left the business to his five sons: Bernard “Bernie,” Seymour, Stanley, Leonard, and Paul. The brand began to produce mainly Western style wear and as cowboy movies became a national sensation, H Bar C grew to be more and more popular. The brand ceased production in the late 90s but began production again in 2016. This original H Bar C shirt, in good condition with spots and marks from prolonged storage, is a great vintage piece of western wear. Yeehaw.
