Ska pop band No Doubt went on hiatus in 2004 after releasing a string of massive albums — Tragic Kingdom, Return Of Saturn, and Rock Steady. Instead of enjoying her time off, lead singer Gwen Stefani embarked on solo career, which began with 2004's Love. Angel. Music. Baby and included the massive hit "Hollaback Girl," the first song in the US to sell 1 million digital copies. The album was nominated for multiple Grammys, including Album Of The Year, and has since gone seven-times Platinum.
