They went on to record more records, eventually sputtering out into a long period of uncertainty, when the album \u003cem\u003eChinese Democracy\u003c\/em\u003e was often promised but never delivered and the band seemingly fell apart \u003cem\u003e(CD\u003c\/em\u003e eventually did come out in 2008)\u003cem\u003e.\u003c\/em\u003e Guns N' Roses reunited with a mostly original lineup in 2015. While it's great to have GNR back, those early days are irreplaceable.
