Gene Loves Jezebel is a British rock band founded by twin brothers Jay and Michael Ashton. They have been playing since their inception in 1980, only now each brother has their own incarnation of the band and is fighting for legal ownership of the name. In 1986, though, the band, which still featured both Ashtons at the time, released their third LP Discover on Beggars Banquet. The record was their first to chart in the US and the UK. This original Gene Loves Jezebel shirt, nicely worn in great condition, is from the era when the band released Discover.
