Fugazi and The Make-Up were two bands from Washington, DC. They both were integral in helping create the sound of the city with earlier bands and continued doing so in the 90s. While they both had different sounds and styles, their goals were well-aligned, and together they helped the underground scene stay healthy and robust through their music but also through their extensive touring. In 1996, the pair went to Japan. Fugazi was in the middle of a run that included Australia, Hong Kong, and Hawaii, while Make-Up came out just for Japan. Their tour was 10 shows in 10 days, with Fugazi in between Red Medicine and End Hits and Make-Up fresh off their debut Destination: Love. This original Fuagzi, Make-Up flyer from their 1996 Japanese tour is in great condition.
