Frostbite was a hardcore band from Wilkes-Barre, PA formed in 2001. Members had previously played in True Identity, Frame Of Reference, and a few other local bands, but the hardcore scene in Wilkes-Barre had grown exponentially in those few years. Posi Numbers had brought international attention to the small suburban Northeast PA town. And so Frostbite released their demo, In The End Your Headless, as a four piece in 2001, with Ryan Shafer on vocals, Dave Foster on bass, Chris Thomas on guitar, and Rob Stitzer on drums, playing a kind of post-Right Brigade style of heavy yet chaotic hardcore with confessional lyrics. They added Alex Russin on second guitar after he returned from a vacation at Long Beach Island and began playing down in Philadelphia, eventually signing with the Philly label Dead By 23 who released their only 7", a self-titled EP in 2003. The band played out a little more, making it to Virginia Beach and playing memorable sets at Posi Numbers 2002 and 2003 before breaking up while working on an LP. Members went on to play in such bands as Cold World, Blacklisted, Robes, and more. This original Frostbite shirt is nicely faded and worn with a few light marks.
