Liván Hernández was drafted by the Florida Marlins in 1996. The Marlins were still a new expansion team at that point and Hernández was making his MLB debut. In 1997, Hernández's first full year with the team, the Marlins won the World Series. Liván Hernández pitched games 1 and 5 and won the World Series MVP. He left the Marlins and played with numerous other teams before retiring in 2012. This vintage Liván Hernández shirt, in excellent condition with a small mark near the shoulder area where a sticker used to be, is from his 1997 World Series MVP winning season.
