Enkindel was a mid 90s Louisville melodic hardcore band. They released one LP on Initial Records, Some Assembly Required, and then a slew of other 7"s and EPs on various labels. By 1998, the band parted with guitarist Billy Halter, who, according to the Louisville Hardcore database, was last known to be pursuing his PhD from Indiana University while teaching world history, anthropology, and economics at Charlestown High School, and changed their name to The Enkindels and played a poppier style of music. The latter form of the band played to 4000+ people. This OG Enkindel pullover sweatshirt, lightly worn with a few marks and spots from prolonged storage, is an "officially licensed product of punk rock," a very 90s sentiment, and also notably comes with an original mail order catalog from Initial.
