Electric Ocean was a short-lived skateboard brand from the skateboarding boom of the 1980s. The team had two riders: Kevin Staab, who came up through Powell before leaving for Sims, and Joe Johnson, who rode for Vision. The two were vert skaters, which was, of course, the most popular and widespread style of skating at the time, and they were constantly getting coverage in magazines and placing at contests. This vintage Electric Ocean shirt, in great condition with some light staining and discoloration throughout, features a great shot of Joe Johnson blasting a slob air on the back.
