Edgewise are a straight edge hardcore band from West Chester, PA founded in 1989. They were founded at the tail end of the youth crew era, and while their morals and aesthetic were influenced by bands like Youth Of Today they had their own distinct sound, one that was darker and more brooding than their peers. The band signed to Smorgasbord Records in 1990 and released their debut 7" Silent Rage, which they followed up with their debut LP Massacre Of The Innocents on their bassist Vince's Harvest Records. They broke up in the mid 90s but reformed in the mid 2010s and have remained sporadically active since then with a slightly different lineup. This original Edgewise shirt, nicely worn and faded, features a reference to their song "Even The Score" from their 1990 Silent Rage 7".
