Dwarr, the solo "metal" project of Dwuane Warr, was founded in Columbia, SC in 1981. While the name, song titles, and the ideology is metal, it doesn't really sound like metal in the traditional sense. The band's first LP, 1985's Starting Over, is a weirdo, outsider, psych record with distorted shredding and dark lyrics. The album has since been re-released by Drag City. Dwarr kept going, releasing three more records since. Their last record, Times Of Terror, was self-released on WARR Enterprises in 2003. This vintage Dwarr tank top, lightly worn with fading on the print, is from the band's last album.
