Jim Kelly was a karate champion, one of the most winningest fighters in the sport. He opened his own dojo in the early 70s and taught many Hollywood clients. This helped him land his first role alongside his student, Calvin Lockhart, in 1972's Melinda. The following year, Kelly starred in the ultra-important Enter The Dragon alongside Bruce Lee. This high-profile role made Kelly the first ever Black martial arts super star. Kelly continued acting, performing in several important Blaxploitation films such as Three The Hard Way and Hot Potato. This vintage Dragon Negro poster, in great condition besides a chip in the bottom left corner, features Jim Kelly, the Black martial arts master.
