Disney made Aladdin, the animated feature, in 1992, in the beginning of their so-called Disney Renaissance. Disney had of course always produced well-loved and inspiring movies, but across the 1990s they reached new heights of popularity. Aladdin was no different. Featuring voice acting from Scott Weinger, Gilbert Gotfried, and Robin Williams as the Genie, the movie was directed by John Musker and Ron Clements who also collaborated on The Little Mermaid a few years prior. It was an enormous success, the movie was the highest grossing movie of the entire year and it also won two Academy Awards and a Grammy. This original Aladdin shirt, lightly worn with some signs of fading, features an illustration of the Genie and Aladdin just hanging out.
