Depeche Mode are a band from Basildon, England. They formed in 1980 and have been active ever since, releasing 14 albums to date. The band plays a synth-driven style of electronic music with dark lyrics and melodies. Depeche Mode's core of Andy Fletcher, Dave Gahan, and Martin Gore has been in tact since the earliest days of the band, with the only main personnel change: Alan Wilders' stint with the band that lasted from 1982 until 1995. Depeche Mode released their tenth album Exciter in 2001. The record topped the charts in the US and the UK and has since been certified Gold in the States. This original Depeche Mode shirt, in excellent condition, is from their 2001 tour in support of Exciter.
