Vintage Deep Purple "Machine Head" T-Shirt

Deep Purple, the legendary English rock band, formed in 1968. By 1972, they were already releasing their sixth album, Machine Head. Lightning fast work. The record was made in the Rolling Stones' mobile studio, a portable studio built in a truck. The truck was supposed to be parked outside a casino, but unfortunately it caught on fire and burnt down after a Frank Zappa show. While they eventually found a new hotel to park and set up shop at, the lead up to their session ended up recording one of the band's biggest songs for the record, "Smoke On The Water." This original Deep Purple shirt, nicely faded and worn, features the art to their legendary 1971 album Machine Head
