Dee Dee Ramone was the bassist of The Ramones. He helped found the band in 1974, originally handling lead singing duties until he stepped aside to bass and Joey left the drums behind for the microphone. Dee Dee played with The Ramones until 1989. After he left the band, he began a solo career which started with a short-lived hip hop project called Dee Dee King but quickly transitioned into punk songs under his own name. He still contributed to The Ramones who ended up breaking up in 1996. Dee Dee sadly passed away in 2002 at the age of 50. This original Dee Dee Ramone shirt is worn in with marks and spots.
