Burning Spirits is used to describe a scene and a sound of Japanese hardcore bands. It refers to a group of bands that play fast, chaotic, and extremely aggressive punk-influenced hardcore and have been doing so for decades now. The name Burning Spirits comes from the annual Japanese tour that began in 1988. In 1989, the tour included some of the scene's (and the world's) best: Tetsu Arrey (鉄アレイ) and Death Side. Tetsu Arrey and Death Side were both formed in 1983. This original single stitch Burning Spirits 1989 tour shirt, featuring Tetsu Arrey and Death Side, is nicely faded and worn in great condition.
