From the back cover: From the period between 1981 to 1985 [Pentagram] were known as Death Row, changing their name back to Pentagram in '85 (at the advice of record company executives) for the release of their self-titled debut album. Unfortunately, most of today's Pentagram fans were still learning how to chew solid food in the year 1983 — which some consider the band's heyday — so they never got the change to witness the kind of live, loud performance resurrected here.
This original copy of Death Row Death Is Alive 1981-1985 is still sealed with a small tear in the shrink.
