Danzig is a band from Lodi, NJ founded and fronted by Misfits' singer Glenn Danzig. The band was formed when Danzig met rockstar producer Rick Ruben who had just recently founded his Def Jam label. Danzig brought along Samhain bassist Eerie Von, Black Flag drummer Chuck Biscuits, and guitarist John Christ to round out the band. They released their debut self-titled album in 1988. The following year that they released their first album, the band went on the God Don't Like It Tour all across the US. The band hit big venues, like The Ritz in New York, SOMA in San Diego, and everything in between. Of course Danzig has been playing ever since, even despite various lineup changes and the fact that The Misfits have gotten back together. This original Danzig three-sided crewneck, nicely worn and lightly faded, is an extremely rare sweatshirt made only for the band's crew from their 1989 God Don't Like It Tour.
