Danzig released Blackacidevil, their fifth album, in 1996. The legendary band had a lineup change before the album's recording, and now the eponymous Glenn Danzig was the only original member left standing. He maintained the same energy going forward, a dark and ominous one, although the music itself sounded different. It was also their first off of Rick Ruben's label, first known as Def American and later simply as American Recordings. The band signed with major label Hollywood for this one record. Danzig the band has continued on ever since in various forms. This original Danzig shirt, with tearing on the print, is from their fifth album Blackacidevil.
