Danzig is a band from Lodi, NJ founded and fronted by Misfits' singer Glenn Danzig. The band was formed when Danzig met rockstar producer Rick Ruben who had just recently founded his Def Jam label. Danzig brought along Samhain bassist Eerie Von, Black Flag drummer Chuck Biscuits, and guitarist John Christ to round out the band. They released their debut self-titled album in 1988 and have continued playing ever since. The band's instantly recognizable logo was taken from a comic book cover, a 1980s issue of Crystar Crystal Warrior. It has been used since their inception and is synonymous with their blend of dark and heavy blues rock influenced horror punk. This vintage Danzig shirt is nicely worn and heavily faded.
