D.O.A. are one of the earliest and longest-running hardcore bands. Founded in 1978, the Vancouver, BC-based band was founded by Joey Shithead, Randy Rampage, and Chick Biscuits (who would go on to play in Black Flag, Circle Jerks, and Danzig). The lineup has changed many, many times over but Shithead remains in the band to this day. They have even had a few short stints as a four piece, mostly during their early days. They've been a three-piece since the early 90s, but most of their work from the 80s featured two guitars. The band has released an unbelievable amount of records, only taking a few short breaks since their inception. This vintage D.O.A. flyer, in great condition with general wear including some staining and pinholes, is from their first show in Surrey, BC on February 24, 1985.
