Color Skateboards was a short-lived company from the early 1990s. Founded by Mark Oblow, owner of Race Wheels, and Rich Metiver, owner of Union Wheels, Color featured riders Jeremy Wray, Caine Gayle, Kris Markovich, Quy Nguyen, and Kyle Yanagimoto. They made a video in 1993 that famously features that huge ollie that opens Jeremy Wray's part, the one where that little kid is like, "I don't believe what I just saw!" Oblow left Race Wheels to start Color, but this caused a tiff with his distributor Deluxe. Deluxe owner Fausto Vitello also owned Thrasher Magazine, and because of this bad blood both Color and all of its riders were banned from Thrasher. Wray's ban was lifted after one of his famous ollies graced the cover: the water tower ollie. This Color Skateboards shirt from 1993, the same year as the video, is original and very rare. Slight imperfections noted in pictures.
